Danny Koo, Executive Producer at Marvel Games, has announced that the first ever PvE mode in Marvel Rivals will be launching globally on 23rd October. Marvel Zombies will pit heroes against relentless zombie hordes and epic boss encounters such as Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead.
The new Zombies Mode is inspired by the Marvel Zombies Disney+ Show and will be released as the game’s Halloween update. The news was revealed during Koo’s panel at gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, in which he also pulled back the curtain on integrating lesser-known heroes into Marvel Rivals.
Released in December last year, Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 hero shooter video game developed and published by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game currently has 6 PvP modes and 43 playable characters as of this month.
