The 2026 edition of AFA Singapore follows AFA Thailand, held on May 30 and 31; and AFA Indonesia, which took place on August 15 and 16. The convention is one of the biggest major anime and Japanese pop-culture events held outside Japan, with the 2024 Singapore edition drawing 130,000 attendees.

In addition to Anime Festival Asia and its I Love Anisong music brand, Sozo operates JLive Asia and organizes the Japan Music Festival brand as well as concerts for individual Japanese artists.
