The first-ever gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 kicks off today at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). Running from now until 19 October, industry powerhouses gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show have united to form Southeast Asia’s largest gaming event, bringing together the global games industry and thousands of fans under one roof.
Following four successful editions of gamescom asia in Singapore, this year’s historic merger launches with the theme “World of Gaming” — an epic festival celebrating every facet of the gaming ecosystem.
Business
From 16–17 October, the business area welcomes industry professionals for two packed days of panels, networking, and deal-making, featuring:
- 70+ speakers from 20 countries, including thought leaders from Avalanche Studios, Bethesda, Gearbox, Marvel Games, Pocketpair, Super Evil Megacorp, Ubisoft.
- A keynote by Glen Schofield (creator of Dead Space, Call of Duty, The Callisto Protocol) on “10 Ways to Find Inspiration”.
- Exhibitors from 24 countries and regions from all over the world.
- Epic Games Store, Xbox, and Xsolla as business area sponsors, hosting the B2B Party, the Invest Circle & VIP Mixer, and the indie area.
- The Pitch Competition, sponsored by BACKND, spotlighting indie talent from around the world with 13 finalist teams that will pitch their games to a panel of international publishers and investors.
- Thailand Game Talent Showcase, organised by the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA) and featuring standout student-developed games.
Entertainment
Looking ahead to 17–19 October, the entertainment area takes over Bangkok with:
- AEON, GeForce Now by bro.game, Synnex and Tourism Authority of Thailand as Platinum Sponsors of the entertainment area.
- New game demos and showcases from major gaming brands, including 4Divinity, Amazing Seasun, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Behaviour Interactive, Capcom, HoYoverse, Konami, Nintendo, Nuverse, PlayStation by Gameshop Concept Store, Razer Game Services, Ubisoft, Tencent, The Pokémon Company, Ubisoft, Xbox, and more.

- The Zone Zean Game Challenge featuring Street Fighter 6 returns with a 30,000 THB prize pool and professional fighting games player, Xian, as the final boss to defeat.
