The 2026 World Webtoon Awards has announced its 20 finalists, with readers worldwide now able to vote for their favorites from September 17 through October 19.
Organized by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), the awards are being held for the third year. Judges’ evaluations and reader votes will each account for 50% of the final score.
This year’s finalists are:

- Lookism
- My S-Class Hunters
- Jakdu: Shaman’s Blade
- Debut or Die!
- On the Way to Meet Mom
- The Greatest Estate Developer
- I Shall Master This Family
- Killer Peter
- A Man’s Man
- Our Guild’s Idol
- The Dawn to Come
- The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway
- Trauma Center: Dr. Baek
- Liberal Arts x Natural Sciences
- A.I. Doctor
- Get Schooled
The awards received 7,318 nominations from 4,038 fans worldwide this year, resulting in 941 submitted works.
Awards Ceremony in December
The awards ceremony is scheduled for December 3 at Starfield Library in COEX Mall, Seoul. It will be held as part of the World Webtoon Festival, which runs from December 2 to 6. Readers can cast their votes through the World Webtoon Awards’ official voting website.
The 2026 edition will also introduce cash prizes for the first time. The Grand Prize winner will receive 15 million won (approximately US$10,700), while the Judges’ Award winner will receive 13 million won (approximately US$9,400). Other main award winners will receive 10 million won (approximately US$7,200) each.
