In perhaps the most straight-to-the-point trending hashtag ever, artists have recently been sharing collages of their artwork with one simple focal point: the eyes. As one of the toughest body parts to master, this art meme is a showcase of the artist’s skill; not only to draw perfect eyes but also convey emotion through them.
The hashtag first surfaced a few years ago but recently made its comeback encouraging not only artists, but also cosplayers and make-up enthusiasts to join in the fun. However, majority of the participants are still artists – and we ain’t complainin’. Here are some of our favourites:
