Blizzard announced some major plans in store for World of Warcraft at BlizzCon 2026! From the final instalment of The Worldsoul Saga in World of Warcraft, to the new Forsaken Kingdom for Warcraft III, here are the announcements you can look forward to!
World of Warcraft Midnight: Eclipse Is Coming
Xal’atath will soon have The Worldsoul and Azeroth’s fate now rest in your hands. The story of World of Warcraft Midnight: Eclipse will unravel in the worldcore as it sets the stage for the finale of the Worldsoul Saga and eventually its final chapter, The Last Titan.
The Last Titan will be the culmination of over two decades of World of Warcraft. However, the end is also the beginning as with The Last Titan, Blizzard announced that it shall lay the foundations of WoW’s next great saga.
No news of World of Warcraft Midnight: Eclipse’s release has been given as of yet. Stay tuned for more information.
Warcraft III Reforged Returns With Forsaken Kingdom In Update 3.0
After 23 years of waiting, Warcraft III Reforged is finally getting a new story. Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom revisits the fall and transition of Lordaeron into Undercity. Available now with the 3.0 update, it includes a massive graphics update, improved World Editor, and more!
Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom can be purchased on Battle.net Shop and added to your collection. Alternatively, players can choose other options such as Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom Combo, or the limited time Warcraft Forever Collection.
The Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom campaign includes:
- A prologue, three story chapters;
- A neutral Forsaken Paladin hero unit; and
- New story content connecting the fall of Lordaeron with the rise of a new era in Azeroth.
Presenting World Of Warcraft: Forever, Launching 4th November, 2026
World of Warcraft: Forever is the third and latest World of Warcraft experience, alongside Modern and Classic. World of Warcraft: Forever will include three new zones, over 1,000 new quests, nine new dungeons, two new raids, the new Skyborne race, and more!
The setting of Forever takes place after the events of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom but before Molten Core. Players will experience new stories and refreshing quests as they return to the original continents, drawing from years of players’ input. Past, present and future players are welcomed back to Azeroth in this new branch of World of Warcraft!
Players can explore parts of Azeroth from the Vanilla era that have yet to be seen when the beta goes live this 17th September, with the full release on 4th November.
World Of Warcraft: Forever Pre-Purchase Upgrades
Enhance your World of Warcraft: Forever with optional upgrades such as the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, and the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection, available for purchase on Battle.net Shop. With the Skyborne Epic Pack or Warcraft Forever Collection, gain access to the beta so you can get in on the fun earlier!
The Skyborne Heroic Pack includes:
