SEGA and Waze have joined forces for a Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration, celebrating the recent launch of Sonic Racing: Crossworlds. Waze users around the world can now enable Sonic-themed voice navigation, with phrases like “All right! Let’s roll! Keep your eyes on the road. Never know when a loop-de-loop or spike trap will be in the way!”
Waze users can also customize their in-app experience with Sonic-inspired icons, including a new “Energetic” mood that adds Sonic to your on-screen avatar. You can also change your car icon on the map to the Speedster Lightning vehicle from Sonic Racing: Crossworlds.
In addition to celebrating Crossworlds’ release, the collaboration also comes as a part of Sonic the Hedgehog 35th anniversary celebrations, which has seen the Blue Blur team up with a number of different brands. Fans can expect to see upcoming Sonic collaborations from McLaren Racing and the Olympics.
