PICO PARK 2 Is Back To Ruin More Friendships; Out Now On Nintendo Switch

The game that ruined friendships is back, for a second time! PICO PARK 2 is a 2D action puzzle game with teamwork at its core. The game is a sequel to the worldwide hit PICO PARK which previously sold more than 5 million copies. The news was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct Showcase.

Similar to its predecessor, PICO PARK, the rules of the game are simple. Retrieve the key and reach the end with all players in tow. However, you won’t be able to clear a level without strong cooperation with your teammates.

PICO PARK 2 supports play for two to eight players in local co-op and up to seven online. All stages can be enjoyed no matter your team size. The game will also support cross-play for online multiplayer, so friends on all platforms can still come together to play.

The original gameplay modes, WORLD, ENDLESS and BATTLE will also be available with more levels added in. Plus, a brand new DARK mode has been introduced with 16 new stages. DARK mode is slightly more difficult, and dare we say, slightly more unreasonable in its demands.

PICO PARK 2 is available now on Nintendo Switch and will be released on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and the Microsoft Store on September 12th.
