Get your detective hats ready! Publisher Team17 Digital and developer Wych Elm have officially pulled back the curtain on their eerie new survival horror game, Silver Pines, with the announcement coming as part of the recent Galaxies Showcase.
The game drops players into the shoes of Red Walker, a private investigator thrust into the titular town of Silver Pines. Walker’s initial mission is to track down a missing musician named Eddie Velvet. However, this seemingly simple case quickly unravels into a terrifying descent. The half-abandoned, half-forgotten town holds a past so dark that the investigation soon spirals into a nightmarish experience that’s far beyond the detective’s control.

Silver Pines is described as a love letter to classic survival horror. Players won’t just be exploring; they’ll be fighting or cunningly avoiding nightmarish terrors while constantly managing scarce resources and solving mind-bending puzzles.
Adding another layer of complexity is the Metroidvania navigation. The town is a sprawling, labyrinthine map filled with hidden paths and locked doors. As Red Walker finds better tools and weapons, more of the unsettling world of Silver Pines becomes accessible, rewarding careful exploration and backtracking.

Silver Pines is slated for release on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation. Players eager to jump into the mystery can wishlist Silver Pines today.
