The iconic all-female Japanese rock band SCANDAL is set to perform at Singapore’s The Star Theatre on 13 September 2025. The concert is part of the group’s new “Love, Spark, Joy!” tour, which celebrates their new EP of the same name.
SCANDAL is best known to anime fans for performing the theme songs to iconic 2000s anime series, including “Harukaze” for Bleach, “Shunkan Sentimental” for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and “Yoake No Ryuuseigun” for Pokémon. The band has also achieved notable success outside of the world of anime, with their 2020 album “Kiss from the Darkness” peaking at number five on the Oricon weekly charts.

The group’s Singaporean performance will be supported by Li-sa-X and her band KOIAI, with Hazuki from NEMOPHILA and Kanade on drums. Their opening performance for SCANDAL will feature their original track “A New Picture” from their 2023 EP “Deep Love”, along with songs from popular anime series such as Naruto, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man and Bocchi The Rock!.
