Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event took place at Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 31, showcasing Netflix’s slate of upcoming films and television shows for the coming months. In between reveals, fans were also treated to musical performances from stars like Lady Gaga and Hanumankind.

1. Squid Game Season 3
Squid Game’s iconic pink guards kicked off the night with an energetic dance performance followed by a rap sequence from Indian rapper Hanumankind. Cast members Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim, and Choi Seung-hyun then took the stage to reveal a new trailer for Season 3, as well as its official release date of June 27. 2. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
Netflix’s murder mystery film series Knives Out returns with Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, premiering this December 12. Writer-director Rian Johnson, along with cast members like Daniel Craig, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin and more showed off a new sneak peek for the film.
3. One Piece Season 2
Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar gave fans a glimpse at the upcoming second season of One Piece, which is set to air in 2026. In what was possibly the biggest reveal of the night, fans got their first look at the live-action Tony Tony Chopper, voiced by Mikaela Hoover.
4. Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein
Guillermo del Toro, Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth took the stage to showcase the first trailer for the acclaimed director’s adaptation of Frankenstein, releasing later this November.
5. Happy Gilmore 2
Adam Sandler’s 1996 sports comedy Happy Gilmore returns with a sequel, airing this July 25. The cast of Happy Gilmore 2 also appeared for a Q&A session hosted by Rich Eisen, with appearances from Lavell Crawford, Blake Clark, Kym Whitley, Jon Lovitz, Ethan Cutkosky, and Conor Sherry.
6. Stranger Things Season 5
Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin announced the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, set to air in three parts later this year. The first four episodes will be released on November 26, followed by three more episodes on December 25, culminating in a grand finale on New Year’s Eve.
7. Wednesday Season 2
Jenna Ortega, Luis Guzmán, Joanna Lumley, Fred Armisen and Isaac Ordonez showcased the first few minutes of Wednesday Season 2, which will air in two parts: the first on August 6, and the second on September 3.
It was also announced that Lady Gaga would have a guest role in the upcoming season as Rosaline Rotwood, a mysterious teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday. Learn more in our full write-up.
8. The Rip

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will star in The Rip, a new crime thriller also featuring Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. The cast revealed that the film is set to release on Netflix this January 16, 2026.
