Larian Studios’ smash hit Baldur’s Gate 3 may have come to an end – but it seems that fans can still expect to receive merch drops for the series and its memorable characters. Case in point: Good Smile Company recently announced that the fan-favourite vampire Astarion is being turned into a Nendoroid.
For those unfamiliar, Nendoroids are palm-sized chibi figures of characters from various movies, games, and anime series. Each figure usually comes with customisable elements like interchangable expressions or props, which make Nendoroids a particularly beloved piece of merchandise amongst both casual and hardcore collectors.
Though no release date or initial design was shown, fans can likely expect to hear more during Good Smile’s Nendoroid FUNS livestream, happening this 12 June on Good Smile’s YouTube channel. The stream comes ahead of Good Smile’s yearly showcase Smile Festival, which is set to unveil over 1,000 new figures this year.
