Renowned Hollywood director Michael Bay has given fans their first look at the upcoming Skibidi Toilet movie, in the form of two mysterious teasers shared over on his Instagram page. The film is an adaptation of the viral meme sensation created by Alexey Gerasimov, also known as DaFuq!?Boom! on YouTube.

No release date or casting details have been revealed for the film thus far, but the project has reportedly recruited some top Hollywood talent for its crew, including three-time Academy-award winning VFX supervisor Rob Legato, who previously worked on Titanic, Avatar, and The Jungle Book; as well as production designer Jeffrey Beecroft (Transformers, A Quiet Place).
In a follow-up post, Michael Bay clarified that he will not be directing the Skibidi Toilet movie, but will likely serve in a different creative role behind the scenes, as the film is being produced, developed, and financed by Invisible Narratives, a digital content studio where Bay serves as chief creative advisor.
The Skibidi Toilet series follows a series of singing toilets with human heads (the titular Skibidi Toilets) who are fighting a war against a cast of equally eclectic characters, including Cameramen, Speakermen, and TV-men. The web series has attracted over 45 million subscribers and 19 billion views since its debut in 2023.
