The 21st BAFTA Game Awards took place at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, in south London on Tuesday, celebrating the biggest achievements in video games from the past year. Sony’s Astro Bot once again dominated the competition with wins in five different categories, including the coveted title of Best Game.

Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy composer Yoko Shimomura was honoured with the BAFTA Fellowship award, a title given by the BAFTAs to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to film, games or TV. In her acceptance speech, she shared: “The fact I am standing here at all is no thanks to my own efforts, but to the people who have supported me. I feel if the music I have made has resonated with one person and touched their hearts in one way, it was worth it.”
