The Indie Game Award, Asia’s largest indie game competition hosted by Taipei Game Show, has announced its 2025 winners. This year’s edition of the award was its largest to date, with 340 indie game developers from 52 countries and regions joining the competition and significantly raising the bar for winning.

Taiwan-based studio Bearbone’s Minds Beneath Us took home the event’s Grand Prix award, as well as the award for Best Narrative. The jury unanimously praised the game’s thought-provoking storyline, well-developed characters, and its stunning blend of futuristic technology with local street scenes, resonating with both domestic and international judges.

Visitors to the Taipei Game Show will be able to check out all of the winners at the Indie Game Award 2025 Winner Pavilion, located within the Indie House of the B2C Zone, while those of us at home can pick up the winning titles and more via the Taipei Game Show 2025 Steam page.
