Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Wrong Organ have confirmed that Mouthwashing will be coming to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch later this year, with physical editions of the game also to be made available on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
Mouthwashing is a first-person psychological horror game following the five crew members of the delivery ship The Tulpar, stranded in the empty reaches of space. As supplies begin to dwindle and the crew’s morale plummets, players are left to watch as their relationships barrel towards a terrifying, heartbreaking conclusion.
The game was one of indie gaming’s biggest success stories of 2024, not only accumulating over 500,000 downloads on Steam, but also winning numerous awards, including Best Narrative and Players’ Choice at the Horror Game Awards. The game was also nominated for Best Narrative and Best Innovation at the Taipei Game Show Indie Game Awards.
While a release date has yet to be confirmed for the console edition of Mouthwashing, fans interested in purchasing the physical editions can sign up now on Fangamer to be notified when pre-orders for go live.
