Umamusume: Cinderella Gray has released a new trailer and key art for the series’ second cour, ahead of its release this October 4. The trailer features the series’ new theme song, Spurt Syndrome by 10-FEET, as well as new footage from the upcoming episodes.
Umamusume: Cinderella Gray is a spin-off of Cygames’ Umamusume mixed-media franchise, based on a manga written by Masafumi Sugiura and illustrated by Taiyou Kuzumi. The franchise re-imagines famous racehorses throughout history as Umamusume (literally “horse girls”) studying in a running academy.
The Umamusume: Cinderella Gray spin-off follows Oguri Cap, a horse girl whose wild running style defies all common sense, and her journey to become the strongest runner at Kasamatsu Training Center Academy. The anime’s first cour began airing earlier this April, featuring an opening theme from J-rock band Alexandros.
