Ralph’s gonna break Fortnite. I’m calling it.
A streamer by the name of ‘MozzzyyTwitch’ was running around Fortnite, doing the usual – breaking roofs, opening chests, and etc when an unlikely character pops up at the Risky Reels outdoor cinema. Disney hero Wreck-It Ralph runs by and gives a small wave before disappearing from the screen entirely. Blink and you will miss it.

As we all know, Wreck-It Ralph is no stranger to video games and it seems to be too much of a coincidence that this was discovered quickly after the release of “Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph breaks the Internet” which was just hours before on November 21st. Even though that there hasn’t been any real announcement made by Epic Games or Disney, many fans are speculating that the appearance of Ralph indicates that a Fortnite x Wreck-It Ralph crossover event is coming soon.
This isn’t even the first time that Fortnite has worked with Disney. Previously, Thanos appeared in Fortnite during a special game mode to promote the movie Avengers: Infinity War. Fortnite has also made many other pop-culture references in the game, from the obvious John Wick’s skin to the more obscure Donald Faison’s dance to “Poison” in Scrubs. It seems that we are just going to have to wait and see whether this Ralph cameo is just that, a cameo or a full-fledged event with many other Disney characters running around Fortnite. I’m hoping for the latter.
