Yasmine, the first Filipino character to join the Street Fighter roster, has officially launched in Street Fighter 6 Year 4. Players will be able to unlock Yasmine through the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass, available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
As seen in her gameplay trailer, Yasmine favors high-speed combat techniques that chip away at opponents using precise cuts. Her aggressive and often acrobatic style gives her plenty of options for chasing down opponents or extending her combos. Successfully executing her moves places Yasmine in an amped state known as Bayani Mode.
Yasmine’s Outfit 1 showcases her in Eskrima combat attire, while Outfit 2 depicts Yasmine in her school uniform between bouts. Outfit 2 can be unlocked by maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or with Fighter Coins.
Onimusha Collaboration Event
Street Fighter 6 will also launch an Onimusha collaboration event on August 7, titled The Way of the Oni × The Way of the Fist. All players who log in during the event will receive special colors, while the Battle Hub will get an Onimusha-inspired makeover.
Capcom will also run a special Street Voter to commemorate the event, based around the theme “Your Favorite Genma”. Players can obtain additional votes to earn Genma stickers and camera frames.
Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam.
