Honkai: Star Rail‘s highly anticipated Version 3.7 update, “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday,” will arrive on November 5. This new version is set to deliver the climactic grand finale of the Amphoreous saga, introducing a powerful new playable character, Cyrene, alongside a brand-new permanent gameplay mode and a host of exciting events.
In this update, the journey that began in the Amphoreous saga is coming to an explosive close. The Trailblazers will stand with the Chrysos Heirs to confront “Irontomb,” a foe described as the most formidable enemy to time itself. To combat this ultimate threat, a Cosmic Alliance is beginning to form, relying on the combined resolve of the Trailblazers and the wisdom of the galaxy’s geniuses.
New Companion
The update introduces Cyrene, a new 5-star character who is an Ice-Type following the Path of Remembrance. Cyrene is a powerhouse support unit whose kit is designed to enhance the entire team. Her abilities include:
- Damage Boost: Cyrene increases the damage dealt by all allies when she is in the team.
- Zone Deployment: Her Skill deploys a Zone, causing any ally damage to trigger an additional instance of True DMG.
- Ultimate Power: By stacking “Recollection” with every teammate action, Cyrene can activate her Ultimate, which instantly activates the Ultimates of all teammates and makes her Zone permanent!
- Memosprite Form: After her first Ultimate, she summons a permanent “memosprite Cyrene.” This sprite can choose to buff any teammate, granting an exclusive special effect to Chrysos Heir characters, or dealing damage to all enemies, making her a versatile linchpin for team compositions.
Massive New Permanent Mode
Beyond the main story, the Version 3.7 update delivers a massive addition to the game with the debut of “Currency Wars.” This large-scale, permanent gameplay mode challenges Trailblazers to form teams of up to ten characters, strategically divided into “on-field” and “off-field” areas that work in tandem during combat.
The mode emphasizes synergy, as combining characters of the same combat type or faction triggers special “Bond” effects for greater power. At launch, the mode will feature 61 participating characters available for a free trial. As a permanent feature, “Currency Wars” will offer a periodic reward system similar to the Divergent Universe, promising continuous new challenges and growth opportunities.
Other Updates
Trailblazers can also look forward to lighthearted new events like “Snack Dash,” which features Madam Ruan Mei’s delightful creations racing across obstacle courses.
Players will also gain more control over their look with the implementation of the “Trailblaze Fashion” system, offering new cosmetic customization options. Players can even grab the limited headwear “Deliverer’s Wreath” for free simply by completing the version’s Main Missions.
