Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 3.2, “Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,” will launch on April 9. In this update, the Trailblazers and Chrysos Heirs will face trials of survival and political intrigue as their Flame-Chase Journey unfolds, alongside the debut of new 5-star characters Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition).
New 5 Star – Castorice
Born under the Touch of Death as a Chrysos Heir seeking the lost Coreflame of Death, Castorice wields the Netherwing, a spectral entity born from eons of memories and divine authority.
The Netherwing manifests after Castorice uses her Ultimate. While active, the Netherwing syncs up with Castorice for joint attacks. When allies lose HP, it is converted into HP for Netherwing which will increase DMG. It can also shield the party by taunting foes, and will disappear in a blaze upon leaving the field, dealing additional damage while healing allies.
Castorice also wields a global passive where killed allies can be temporarily sustained in a near-death state, and fulfilling specific conditions allows the character to recover and rejoin the battle. This ability remains active even if Castorice is not in the team.
New 5 Star – Anaxa
A member of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany and founder of the Nousporism, Anaxa’s attacks can randomly apply Weaknesses to enemies. As these stacks reach a requisite amount on an enemy, he can trigger Qualitative Disclosure, a unique state that increases his damage and allows him to unleash a follow-up Skill Attack without consuming Skill Points. His Ultimate ability inflicts Sublimation on all enemies, instantly applying 7 Weaknesses to them.
Other Character Updates
In the first half of Version 3.2, a special Warp event will debut, featuring simultaneous reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron; while in the second half, Dr. Ratio will also return.
The development team have also announced that balance adjustments will be coming to Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu, with the specifics of these changes to be announced in future updates.
Seal Slammers Mini-Game
Trailblazers can also try out Seal Slammers, a whimsical mini-game where players compete against their Chrysos Heir allies in chaotic seal-based collisions. Sponsored exclusively by Aglaea, this edition of the event will run for an extended duration.
Anniversary Updates
To celebrate the two-year anniversary of Honkai: Star Rail, the game will launch a series of special events, including the Star Rail WORLD event, where Trailblazers will collaborate with old friends to organize a pan-cosmic gala. Players must employ strategic management to generate funds, elevate the venue’s tiers, and recruit trusted companions for support.
