Stardew Valley: Festival Of Seasons Concert Arrives In Malaysia This September

The Stardew Valley “Festival of Seasons” concert will be coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this September 6. Happening at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, the concert will feature fan-favourite tracks performed by an 11-piece Chamber Ensemble, with arrangements from Thai conductor Thanapol Setabrahmana.

The show is segmented into sections, each representing one of the four in-game seasons: Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. Fans can enjoy memorable themes from the game’s many locations, festivals, and villagers, including Dance of the Moonlight Jellies and Stardew Valley Overture. The tour will also feature new exclusive Stardew Valley merchandise that will only be available at the concerts.

Eric Barone (a.k.a. ConcernedApe), Stardew Valley’s creator and composer, said:  “It’s been amazing to see the reaction to the announcement of the Festival of Seasons. This is a testament to the amazing passion of the Stardew community, and I’m delighted that more people can now experience this music as a live orchestral performance”.

Thanapol Setabrahmana, Assistant Music Director of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and creator of the arrangements for the tour, said:  “Video game music is very special and nothing beats the sensation of hearing the music in your favorite games being performed by a live ensemble. It’s been an honor to work on the arrangements for these performances, a lot of care and attention has been put into ensuring these arrangements delight fans both old and new to the series.”

Fans should also note that Festival of Seasons is a separate show from the Symphony of Seasons concert, which is set to play in Singapore and Bangkok later this year. The “Symphony” series is a larger concert performed by a 35-piece orchestra, while the “Festival” series’ 11-piece ensemble offers a more intimate experience. More information about the two concerts can be found on the official website.

Tickets for the Stardew Valley: Festival of Season Kuala Lumpur concert will go on sale this 15 May via Sistic.
