Another anime exhibition is coming to town, this time based on the popular anime and manga series Chainsaw Man.
The news was announced by the official Chainsaw Man PR account, which stated that Chainsaw Man would be holding an exhibition in Hong Kong on January 17th, before making its way to Taiwan, Korea and Malaysia as part of an Asian tour. It was also revealed that limited-edition merchandise would be sold at each location.
Chainsaw Man was originally created as a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto, telling the story of Denji, a young man who becomes caught up in a battle between humanity and monsters known as “Devils”. Denji himself recieves the powers of a Devil, becoming the titular Chainsaw Man, and is recruited to a mysterious government agency that hunts down Devils.
The manga is regarded as one of the best-selling manga titles of all time, having sold over 30 million copies in 2024. It was adapted into an anime series by MAPPA, who will also be releasing a movie based on one of the manga’s story arcs later this year.
Exact details regarding the date and location of the Chainsaw Man exhibition have yet to be announced. Follow the official Chainsaw Man PR account for more information.
