CAPCOM is bringing two more Resident Evil games to Apple devices via iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Resident Evil 7: biohazard will be available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and every iPad and Mac with the M1 chip or later starting July 2nd, 2024.
The game is currently available for pre-order on the Apple App Store, and can be downloaded for free with in-game purchases. According to the app description, this means that a limited part of the base game can be played for free, but in-app purchase is required to play the full game.
The base game comes bundled with the Not A Hero DLC featuring fan favourite Chris Redfield, while the Gold Edition Upgrade comes with the End of Zoe DLC, Banned Footage mini games, and all other add-ons.
Fans may also want to take note that the Resident Evil 7: biohazard app is approximately 31GB. It is recommended to have at least twice the size of the app in free storage space available for a smooth installation process.
Together with this announcement, CAPCOM has revealed that they are working on releasing the Resident Evil 2 Remake next on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. No launch date has been announced yet.
