JDM: Japanese Drift Master American Classics DLC Adds Six New Muscle Cars

JDM: Japanese Drift Master is expanding its garage again with the American Classics DLC, a new premium add-on focused on raw American power, vintage muscle, and modern US-inspired performance cars.

The DLC is now available across platforms and introduces six new unlicensed American cars to the game. While JDM: Japanese Drift Master is built around Japanese drift culture, this update gives players a very different flavour: heavier machines, louder engines, and a more muscle-car-focused driving style.

American Muscle Comes To JDM: Japanese Drift Master

The American Classics DLC adds six new cars, all inspired by iconic American vehicles but released under fictional names. The full list includes Ironvale Hauler F84, Ironvale Stallion 2024, Roebuck Striker, Roebuck Jetstream 1959, Roebuck Reaver 1969, and Roebuck Reaver 2024.

This is not the first time JDM: Japanese Drift Master has brought American-style cars into the game. The previous Made in USA DLC also added a set of unlicensed US-inspired rides, but American Classics leans harder into the heritage side of American car culture, mixing older silhouettes with newer muscle designs.

That makes the DLC feel less like a random car pack and more like a themed garage expansion. Instead of only giving players more JDM machines, Gaming Factory is using the DLC to widen the car culture fantasy around the game.

All Six Cars In The American Classics DLC

The American Classics DLC includes:

  • Ironvale Hauler F84
  • Ironvale Stallion 2024
  • Roebuck Striker
  • Roebuck Jetstream 1959
  • Roebuck Reaver 1969
  • Roebuck Reaver 2024

The Steam listing describe the pack as a collection of six legendary American-style cars built to bring “timeless power” to the streets. The cars are not officially licensed, but they are clearly designed to capture the look and attitude of familiar American classics.

For car fans, that is part of the fun. The Ironvale Hauler F84 gives the pack a pickup-truck angle, while cars like the Roebuck Reaver and Ironvale Stallion clearly target the modern and classic muscle crowd. It is the kind of DLC that will appeal to players who enjoy building something loud, wide, and slightly ridiculous before sending it sideways through Japan’s mountain roads.

New Engine Sounds, Handling, And Customization

According to the official Steam community update, the six American Classics cars come with new engine sounds, unique handling characteristics, and a wide range of tuning shop customization options.

That part is important because American muscle cars should not feel like reskinned Japanese drift cars. They need to feel heavier, louder, and less precise in a way that makes them fun to control. If the handling is properly distinct, this DLC could give players a fresh reason to return to JDM: Japanese Drift Master even if they have already built their favourite Japanese cars.

Customization is also a big part of the appeal. JDM has always leaned into car culture presentation, so being able to tune these American-inspired machines should give players more room to create builds that feel completely different from the usual JDM garage.

A Different Kind Of Drift Fantasy

The interesting thing about the American Classics DLC is that it technically goes against the name of the game, but in a good way. JDM: Japanese Drift Master is still very much about Japanese roads, drifting, and car culture, but the idea of throwing American muscle into that setting creates a fun contrast.

Japanese drift cars are usually associated with balance, lightweight control, and high-revving engines. American classics bring a different energy. They are bigger, louder, and more dramatic. That difference could make the DLC more interesting than a simple “more cars” update.

It also gives players a stronger garage variety. Instead of only building the cleanest JDM street machine, players can now create something closer to a V8-powered monster and see how it behaves on the same roads.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master Keeps Expanding Its Car Culture

The American Classics DLC shows that Gaming Factory is not limiting JDM: Japanese Drift Master to one narrow corner of car culture. The game may be built around Japan, but its DLC direction is clearly open to broader automotive influences.

With six new American-inspired cars, fresh sounds, unique handling, and new customization options, American Classics gives players another reason to return to the garage and start building again.

For anyone who wanted to hear something louder than the usual JDM soundtrack echoing through the mountain roads, this DLC is basically the answer.
