A Land of the Lustrous pop-up store has opened its doors at Paris’s Carrousel du Louvre, a shopping centre which serves as an extension of the famous Louvre art museum. The pop-up celebrates the French publication of the manga’s 13th and final volume, originally created by mangaka Ichikawa Haruko.
The pop-up takes place at Les Minéraux, a mineral specialty store located in the Carrousel du Louvre. Running from June 27 to July 18, the Land of the Lustrous pop-up will feature unique displays where characters from the manga are showcased next to the gems they’re based on, with visitors even being able to scan QR codes to preview manga chapters on the spot.

Visitors will also be able to purchase the French version of the manga at the venue, which comes with exclusive gifts. Purchasing a first edition of Volume 13 gets you an ex libris or bookplate featuring Phos, while purchasing three manga volumes will get you a bookmark and even a mineral of your own.
The pop-up store is a joint collaboration between Japanese publisher Kodansha, French publisher Glénat, and French manga reading app Mangas.io. More information is available on the Mangas.io website.
