Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV Online Patch 7.2, “Seekers of Eternity,” will launch on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025. This reveal was made during a recent “Letter from the Producer LIVE” broadcast, accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the upcoming content.
The trailer, presented by Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida, offered players a glimpse into the new main scenario quests, the Arcadion raid, and various updates to Player versus Player (PvP) content.

- New Main Scenario Quests: Continue the epic storyline.
- New Dungeon: The Underkeep: Explore a brand-new challenging dungeon.
- New Raid: The Arcadion: Cruiserweight Tier: Tackle a new raid with Savage difficulty arriving on April 1st, 2025.
- New Trial: Recollection (Normal/Extreme): Face a new challenging trial.
- New Cornservant Side Quest: Enjoy a new side story.
- New Unreal Trial: Hells’ Kier (Unreal): Battle Suzaku at level 100.
- Duty Support Additions: The Sunken Temple of Qarn will receive Duty Support.
- PvP Updates: Series 8 commences, new role actions for large-scale PvP, adjustments to existing actions, and the return of Frontline (Secure).


Furthermore, the broadcast detailed content arriving in subsequent patches:
- Patch 7.21 (April 22nd, 2025): Cosmic Exploration: A new activity for crafters and gatherers, allowing exploration of uncharted stars.
- Patch 7.25 (May 27th, 2025): Occult Crescent: A new field operation on a mysterious isle.
- Patch 7.25 (May 27th, 2025): Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures: More adventures with the beloved Hildibrand.

In addition to the in-game content, Square Enix announced a collaboration with NovelKeys, an artisan keyboard company, to release the FINAL FANTASY XIV Edition Classic TKL, a custom mechanical keyboard featuring Eorzean themed keycaps. Pre-orders are available until April 14th, 2025.
