Chucklefish has announced that its upcoming magic life-simulation game Witchbrook will launch on January 28, 2027. The release date was revealed alongside a new gameplay trailer during the latest Nintendo Indie World presentation.
The announcement also confirmed a PlayStation 5 version, joining the previously announced platforms. The game will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Co-developed by Chucklefish and Robotality, Witchbrook places players in the role of a witch-in-training at Witchbrook College in the seaside town of Mossport. Players will attend classes, complete assignments and study subjects including Alchemy, Astrology, Tarot and Rituals.
Outside the classroom, players can explore Mossport, build friendships and romantic relationships, and establish their own witch business helping the local community. Players can join a club, attend seasonal events, go birdwatching, bug-catching, fishing and more, with the game additionally supporting up to 4 players in online multiplayer.
