Thai indie developer Bit Egg Inc., the studio behind Lost and Found Co., has become the first video game developer to receive Thailand’s prestigious Prime Minister’s Export Award.
The studio received the Prime Minister’s Export Award for Best Service Enterprise: Digital Content and Software, recognising its contribution to Thailand’s digital creative industry and its success in bringing Thai-developed games to international audiences.
A Milestone Year for Bit Egg
Established in 1992, the Prime Minister’s Export Award is overseen by Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion and is regarded as the country’s highest government award for exporters.
The award recognises businesses that have successfully expanded into international markets, gained global recognition and contributed to Thailand’s export economy.
For Bit Egg, the recognition comes as Lost and Found Co. reaches several milestones. The hidden-object adventure has surpassed 100,000 copies sold and is currently Thailand’s most wishlisted game on Steam.
“We never expected to be the first independent games studio in Thailand to receive an award like this, so it means a lot to the whole team,” said Aekkathip Chaisiri, CEO of Bit Egg. “We’re incredibly proud to be making games here in Thailand and seeing Lost and Found Co. reach players all over the world.”
Lost and Found Co. Heads to Tokyo Game Show
Following its recent appearance at Gamescom in Cologne, Bit Egg will bring Lost and Found Co. to Tokyo Game Show 2026, where attendees can play the game and meet the development team.
The game has recently added Japanese and German localisation, with Korean and French versions currently in development. Bit Egg is also preparing a new fall content update scheduled to arrive later this month.
