During the gamescom 2026 Awesome Indies Show Live, Indonesian developer MelonCat and publisher Soft Source announced Wishseeker, a new turn-based tactical roguelike game. Targeting a release in 2027, Wishseeker is now looking for playtesters for a closed playtest in Q4 2026.
Wishseeker is a turn-based tactical roguelite where you lead a party of four Wishseekers into the ever-changing Hollow Vault. Lead a party of four through dungeons fighting fast, grid-based battles. Every run is unique with different paths, skills, and artifacts to build up your heroes.
Gameplay Features
- Build Your Party: Pick your team from a roster of 8 playable heroes, each with a distinct playstyle. Then craft a new build for every hero from an ever-changing mix of skills and artifacts you collect as you progress.
- Fast, Grid-Based Combat: Keep the depth of turn-based tactics without the waiting. Position your heroes on the grid, chain their skills together, and read the fight to come out on top. Combat is built for speed, with minimal downtime during enemy turns so every battle keeps moving.
- Play Together: Take on the full story solo, controlling all four heroes yourself, or share your party with up to three friends in online co-op. Coordinate your moves, combo your skills, and take down bosses together.
