The Quintessential Quintuplets Franchise Confirms New TV Anime

The Quintessential Quintuplets franchise will receive a new television anime based on its sequel novel, The Quintessential Quintuplets: The Four Seasons, and a brand-new special that adapts manga chapters that have yet to be animated.

The news was announced during “The Quintessential Quintuplets Special Event 2026 in Toyota Arena Tokyo”, a fan event that featured the full main cast of the original anime.

The Quintessential Quintuplets: The Four Seasons is a sequel light novel by Hajime Asano that follows the Nakano sisters’ daily lives in their final year of high school. Although the sequel light novel was not written by original creator Negi Haruba, the sequel anime adaptation is slated to proceed under their full supervision.

While the production staff and release date have yet to be announced, the sequel novel does have a manga adaptation underway.
