Acclaimed boardgame King of Tokyo made its digital debut on May 21, available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The title features a physical edition on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, as well as an exclusive limited edition that includes a cardboard figurine, a Blockbuster Bro Monster Board and 8 Evolution Cards.
The original boardgame was created by Richard Garfield, the designer behind Magic: The Gathering, and has sold over one million copies worldwide. You play as a gigantic Monster wreaking havoc in your path, rolling dice to create the best combinations to heal, attack, purchase cards, or earn Victory Points. The first player to reach 20 Victory Points wins the game.
Gameplay Features
- Solo and Local Multiplayer Modes: Face off against AI opponents in customizable matches tailored to all difficulty levels or challenge up to 5 friends in intense battles. Earn Victory Points or bring your opponents’ life points to zero to claim victory.
