Indonesian Survival Horror ‘AGNI: Village of Calamity’ Finds Publishing Home

Indie publisher Wired Productions has inked a worldwide publishing deal with Separuh Interactive for their hotly anticipated slasher survival horror, AGNI: Village of Calamity. To mark the occasion, Wired Productions has dropped a new trailer featuring original music from its independent label Black Razor Records.

AGNI: Village of Calamity combines mind-bending terror and ritual strangeness with Indonesian slasher style violence. Play as Agni, an investigator from a secret agency, who, driven by regret, disobeys the rules as she searches for her missing partner inside the forbidden village of Desa Purba.  On this rogue mission, Agni descends deeper into violence, obsession, and psychological collapse, as guilt drives her towards the edge of what the human mind can live through.

Ardhan Fadhlurrahman, COO, Separuh Interactive shared, “Our ambition with AGNI is to push the boundaries of Indonesian horror into the ‘New Weird’ space, creating a psychological thriller that challenges the player’s perception of reality. We are proud to work alongside Wired Productions, whose commitment to championing creative visionaries makes them the ideal partner to share our passion for authentic Indonesian storytelling with a worldwide audience.”

“We love our horror games bloody and extra rare, and AGNI: Village of Calamity, is just the right flavour for us. We publish games from amazing people, that have stories that really need to be heard, so are extremely happy that the Separuh Interactive team have entrusted their very special game with us.” added Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions.

AGNI: Village of Calamity is set to be released on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), XBOX Series S|X, and PlayStation 5, with more formats to be announced soon.
