Fellow Traveller To Debut Story-Rich Showcase At Summer Game Fest

Fellow Traveller have announced that its Story-Rich Showcase will take place on June 6, 2026 at 10AM Pacific. Fans of narratively-driven games can tune in via the Fellow Traveller YouTube and Twitch channels for a highly curated selection of titles that put the focus on the written word, deep characters, and well-crafted game worlds.

The hour-long presentation will feature world premieres of unannounced narrative games, release date reveals, and fresh information about upcoming features and gameplay content from 26 different games.

Participating studios include Happy Broccoli Games (Kraken Academy!!Duck Detective), point and click adventure specialists Rusty Lake (Servant of the Lake), and SFB Games (Crow CountryTangle Tower). Expect updates and debuts from Fellow Traveller studios, too. Spanning retro horror, mystery thrillers, and unexpected romance, the assortment of games is brilliant and varied, but has great narratives in common.

Documentarians and indie game supporters No Clip, multi-award-winning reader-funded editorial publication This Week in Videogames, queer and women-owned independent publication Mothership, and cozy content creator MadMorph will be introducing games, hosting segments, and interviewing developers throughout the showcase.

Fellow Traveller is an indie games publishing label exploring the possibility space of what narrative games can be, best known for publishing Citizen Sleeper, The Pale Beyond, Genesis Noir, and Afterlove EP among many others. They are also the organisers of the annual narrative-focused digital showcase, Ludonarracon.
