Streamline Studios is celebrating the 5th anniversary of Bake ‘n Switch with a huge price drop, going from $30 (RM122) to just $5 (RM22). The new price tag will go into effect at midnight on September 4, available across Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Originally launched in 2020, Bake ’n Switch is a “violently cute” couch co-op and PvP party brawler where up to 4 players can join forces or clash in battle, in order to catch, merge, and sacrifice adorable living Dough creatures. The game features over 100 dynamic levels, a cast of mischievous Buns, and six unique Bakers to master.
“Five years ago, we launched Bake ’n Switch as a passion project to bring people together through laughter, chaos, and a little bit of betrayal,” said Alexander Fernandez, CEO of Streamline Media Group. “The new $5 price tag is our way of saying thank you to the players and inviting new Bakers to experience the wild world of Fla.”
Over the past five years, the Bake ’n Switch community has enjoyed free DLC updates, improved online multiplayer, new Player versus Player (PvP) modes, and a range of seasonal content, all thanks to feedback from over 10,000 devoted players worldwide. The game also won awards for Game of the Year, Outstanding Gameplay and Visual Excellence in Reboot 2019.
