Call of Duty: Mobile has launched a new collaboration with the Gundam franchise, titled “Season 6: Gundams Arrive”. Players will be able to engage with and earn Gundam-themed operators, weapons, and rewards through many parts of the new season.
Here’s some of the highlights:
New Multiplayer Mode
The update introduces Gundam Team Deathmatch, a new limited-time Multiplayer mode where players control Gundam-themed Operators, including Ethan — Freedom Gundam, Reaper — Sazabi Gundam, Proton — v Gundamo, and Deathscythe Gundam (EW). Each Gundam comes with its own special abilities and weapons.
Battles fought in Deathmatch take place in third-person perspective, with participants fighting on a new map made specifically for the mode – an interstellar space station with multiple futuristic points of interest.
By completing missions and challenges in Deathmatch’s Survival of the Fittest event, players can obtain Gundam-themed rewards, including new the legendary weapon J358 — Fin Funnel v Gundam, Urban Tracker — Defense Force, Cyro Bomb — Haro (reskin), Emote — Haro Team, new camos, and much more.
As a bonus, after completing a game of Deathmatch, players can watch Gundam themed operator animations outside the match in exchange for rewards. More animations can be unlocked through player participation in Deathmatch, as well as normal Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes. Other events will also offer free seasonal rewards, including login events and check-ins.
