During the recent Wholesome Direct, Wholesome Games Presents and India-based developer imissmyfriends.studio announced Fishbowl, a narrative pixel art game about memories, connection, grief, and self-discovery. A demo is available to play now via Steam.

Fishbowl is a heartfelt coming-of-age story about a young adult named Alo, who gets her first job in a new city, where she will have to live by herself while grieving her grandma’s death. Told over a month, you will unpack puzzles to rediscover childhood memories, video call loved ones, and work from home while balancing self-care and chores, to figure out life one day at a time.

- Work from home as a video editor for a huge social media star. Edit videos by playing an arcade style matching game and meet colleagues all with different personalities and abilities.
- Go through your late grandma’s belongings by sorting through puzzles. Uncover objects which reveal childhood memories, each one a storyteller taking you back to your past.
- Do your best with home chores and self-care or as little as you are able to. Make decisions, uncover the past, figure out life one day at a time.
