Indonesian developer Digital Happiness recently held DHXP, a livestream that celebrated the studio’s 11th anniversary and provided updates on their upcoming games, including the previously announced DreadOut Remastered Collection, and brand-new titles such as Jurnal Risa: Dark Destiny, Broomstick Exorcist, and the highly anticipated DreadOut 3.
Here’s a quick rundown of every game announced:
1. DreadOut Remastered Collection
The DreadOut Remastered Collection includes the original cult-favourite DreadOut, and its sequel DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark. DreadOut follows a group of high school students who stumble across a long-forgotten town, trapped in a state of slumber. Their innocent stroll turns into disaster as the town reveals its dark and terrible secrets.
The story of the series’ protagonist, Linda, continues in DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark, as she journeys into the Mirror Realm, a portal of worlds that connect to 8 haunted dominions ready to greet her.
The DreadOut Remastered Collection is now available on Steam, with an Xbox release also planned for the future.
2. Jurnal Risa: Dark Destiny
A prequel to the 2024 horror mockumentary Jurnal Risa, Jurnal Risa: Dark Destiny is a visual novel that tells the unsettling, never-before-told story of the Jurnal Risa crew. Brought to life with full voice acting, beautiful illustrations and minigames, you’ll collect the fragments of the past to piece together a dark destiny.

3. Broomstick Exorcist
Broomstick Exorcist is a supernatural beat em’ up set in a stylized 2.5D, monochromatic world. You’ll play as Vikka, an insomniac street sweeper who hunts down pesky demons with the help of her trusty broomstick and supernatural abilities. Sweep, kick, and fight your way through pesky demons who just won’t stay dead.
Fight various ghosts and demons inspired by Asian mythology, while also being immersed in a world that feels ripped straight from the pages of a black and white manga. Upgrade skills, chain combos, and adapt to every battle you face. And when things get tough, you can even transform into a stronger version of yourself and embrace your Qareen (spiritual doppelganger) to turn the tides of battle and send these demons back to where they came from.

4. DreadOut 3
Linda Meillinda returns to take on the unknown, this time falling down an interdimensional rabbit hole to find the source of a dark, unseen power threatening the balance of light and darkness. This installment in the series expands on the lore of the previous games with a spine-chilling horror adventure, set in a Southeast Asian environment.
Tread the line between the worlds of the living and the dead, and with the help of your trusty Iris Phone, uncover ghosts, demons, and gruesome horrors lurking in the shadows.
