Megan Thee Stallion is a three-time Grammy award-winning superstar – and probably one of the biggest otaku celebrities in the Western hemisphere, having cosplayed everything from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to My Hero Academia.
Now, she’s officially teaming up with Airbnb for the Otaku Hottie Quest experience, a series of otaku-themed challenges taking place at a bespoke Airbnb in Los Angeles this June 12, hosted by Megan as the official “hype-hottie”.

Twelve lucky visitors will have the opportunity to customise their own “anime school outfit”, before being split into teams for a floor-is-lava course. Then, they’ll play Mortal Kombat 1 while trying Japanese snacks, before having a full meal of ramen. The experience ends with them being invited to redeem special rewards from a loot box.
The Otaku Hottie Quest event is completely free, with guests even having the opportunity to keep the costumes and rewards they earn from the experience. Those interested will have to be over 21 to apply.
Aside from being a fun activity for Megan Thee Stallion fans, it’s also a testament to how far anime and cosplay culture has come, going from a niche hobby to one that’s being endorsed by mainstream brands and celebrities.
