As a 5-star Aero DPS character, Cartethyia brings a new playstyle to the game, with sword-based combat and Aero abilities that are designed to offer both power and versatility in battle. All of this is brought to life with amazing animation and beautiful impact frames.
Her voice acting is spectacularly done by Amanda Elizabeth Rischel, best known as the voice of Audrey from Strinova. Along with speculation that the Gusts of Welkin Echo set from Version 2.2, which increases Aero damage over time, she’s definitely set to blow away player’s PCs – and their wallets.
Wuthering Waves have definitely made themselves known in the gacha space with releases such as these, despite facing fierce competition from older games such as Genshin Impact. Carthethyia will launch in Version 2.4 alongside another new character, Lupa, set to release later this June.
