Mobile naval combat game Azur Lane has released a major summer update, bringing new content and limited-time events to players worldwide. The Rose on the High Tower update, which runs through June 11, introduces six new shipgirls, seven new character skins, and a variety of in-game activities and rewards.
The centerpiece of the update is the “Midsummer Returns: Villa Reconstruction” event, offering players a series of minigames and missions to earn in-game resources and exclusive items.
Players can also participate in a Special Login Campaign, which distributes daily bonuses during the event period, while players below Lv.80 gain double commander and ship EXP from sorties. The Wishing Well allows Commanders to select up to two shipgirls released before March 27, 2025 from permanent build pools for rate-up based on rarity.

Five new Royal Navy-themed shipgirls are coming to the game, including two Ultra Rare units, Lion and Trafalgar. Lion is available through limited construction, while Trafalgar can be obtained by exchanging event points earned through gameplay.
The update also debuts Glorious META, a Super Rare unit obtainable through Limited Construction, stage drops, and PT exchange in the Shop; Cleopatra, a Super Rare shipgirl; and Gallant and Trinidad, two new Elite shipgirls. Trinidad in particular can be claimed as a cumulative PT milestone reward.

Finally, the event will add seven new skins, with six from the Swimsuits series and one from the Bunny Girl series. These include three new L2D skins: The Reclining Dandelion for Lion, Sea Breeze, Moonlit Talks for Trafalgar, and Fun on the Baize for Taihou.
Players can also obtain The Relaxing Dragon God for Shimanto, a rare dual-format skin featuring both L2D and dynamic animation capabilities, as well as eight popular skins returning to the store for a limited time.
The update is now live and available until June 11 at 11:59 PM (UTC-7). For more information, check out the official website.
