Developed by Lente, who lives on a boat herself, Spilled! is an upcoming wholesome clean-up game about cleaning up oil spills with a boat. The game is slated to be an hour-long cozy experience where you clean, recycle, and earn coins to upgrade your boat.
Lente began developing Spilled! at the end of 2022, after leaving school to pursue her dream of living on a small boat, and continuing the maritime lifestyle she grew up with. Although progress was slow initially, the game began to gain traction.
In early 2024, Lente’s Kickstarter campaign was a huge success, raising 31,600 euros — 316% of her original 10,000 euro goal. The game currently has amassed over 65,000 wishlist on Steam ahead of its March 26th launch.
