The popular anime series Tokyo Ghoul makes its debut in the realm of Dead by Daylight with a dark and twisted take on its protagonist, Ken Kaneki. Players can now experience Kaneki in a dramatically altered form as he joins the game not as a survivor, but as a formidable Killer.
This crossover, titled Dead by Daylight: Tokyo Ghoul, introduces “The Ghoul,” a reimagined Ken Kaneki, into the game’s terrifying landscape. In the Tokyo Ghoul anime, Kaneki becomes a half-human, half-Ghoul hybrid after a life-saving organ transplant. In Dead by Daylight, however, he fully embraces his Ghoulish nature, driven by primal instincts and a hunger for human flesh.
The Ghoul’s abilities center around his “Kagune” tentacles, which erupt from his back, enabling swift movement and devastating attacks. Successful strikes trigger “Enraged Mode,” significantly boosting his strength and brutality.
Adding to the excitement, the Tokyo Ghoul Collection, launching on April 2nd, will introduce a range of iconic looks inspired by characters from the anime. Notably, the Legendary Rize Kamishiro Outfit for The Ghoul allows players to embody the character whose organs initiated Kaneki’s transformation.
The collection also features Very Rare Outfits, including the Rabbit Costume Outfit for Yui Kimura, the Hide Costume Outfit for Renato Lyra, the Eto Costume Outfit for Nea Karlsson, and the Awakened Ghoul Outfit for The Ghoul. Moreover, players can personalize their experience with four Very Rare Masks for The Unknown, Jonah Vasquez, Jake Park, and David King.
Dead by Daylight: Tokyo Ghoul is currently available for testing on the Steam public test build and will officially release on April 2nd. For more information, visit deadbydaylight.com.
