Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions have revealed new details for the highly anticipated “Death Stranding 2: On The Beach,” including its official release date of June 26, 2025. The announcement was made during a special panel at SXSW, where Kojima also showed off a new pre-order trailer.
Pre-orders for “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” will start on March 17, with various editions available for purchase. For Southeast Asian fans, a special Collector’s Edition has been revealed, featuring a range of exclusive perks:

- 48-hour Early Access to the game
- 15” Magellan Man Statue
- 3” Dollman figurine
- Art cards
- Letter from Hideo Kojima

- Machine Gun (MP Bullets) LV1 early unlock

In addition to the Collector’s Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition and Physical and Digital Standard Editions will also be made available. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the full game download, 48-hour early access, in-game items, and patches. The Standard Editions offer the digital or physical game, and pre-order bonuses. All pre-orders of all editions will receive the same in game pre-order bonuses.
Kojima Productions also announced the “Stranding Harmony” Concert Series, an orchestral tour featuring music from the series, which will begin on November 8, 2025. Its inaugural performance will take place at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, followed by a global tour.
