After a month-long wait, Invincible Season 3 has finally come to an end! The season has had its share of ups and downs, but in my opinion, it’s been a fantastic ride.
What truly sets Invincible apart is the raw honesty of its storyline and writing. This season particularly challenged Mark with a new internal struggle, having him (literally) wage war against himself. From intense battles to moments of heartbreak, and back again, Mark endured immense physical and emotional struggles this season. I truly applaud him for still managing to stay sane.

However, Invincible Season 3 did have its flaws, particularly in the animation department. Many fans have pointed out that fan-made animations often outshine the official ones. This could be due to budget constraints, one of the major obstacles the show faced this season. According to Deadline News, Invincible had only a quarter of the budget allocated to shows like The Boys – a devastating blow considering how expensive the animation process can be.
Another issue was the rushed production and tight deadlines. While Season 1 had a full three years to develop before its release, Seasons 2 and 3 were produced with only a two-year gap between them. This could have contributed to the previously mentioned drop in quality for animation, as well as dips in the storyline and writing process.

Would I still recommend the series to others? Absolutely! I would highly recommend Invincible to anyone looking for something different from the typical Marvel or DC TV shows. Although there is a lot of gore and an honestly unjustified amount of blood, the show’s writing overall remains engaging and powerful enough to keep audiences invested.
