The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act is officially getting a Malaysian theatrical screening, as confirmed by film distributor Encore Films Malaysia. Exact details surrounding the screening, including an air date and participating theatres, have yet to be revealed at the time of writing.
Created by Gooseworx for indie animation studio Glitch Productions, The Amazing Digital Circus is one of the world’s most popular animated web series, having surpassed 1 billion online views following its 2023 debut. Its final instalment, The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, combines the recently released episode eight with episode nine for an all-new, hour-long series finale.
The Last Act features the voices of Lizzie Freeman (Pokémon Horizons) as Pomni, Alex Rochon (Poppy’s Playtime) as Caine, Michael Kovach (Murder Drones, Lackadaisy) as Jax, Amanda Hufford (Genshin Impact) as Ragatha, Marissa Lenti (Borderlands 3) as Gangle, Sean Chiplock (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) as Kinger, Ashley Nichols (Lackadaisy) as Zooble, and more. It also features music composed by series veteran Evan Alderete (Hazbin Hotel) and art direction from Gobo3D.
While initially slated for a four-day limited screening across the US, Canada, Latin America and Japan, strong fan demand and social media campaigns have managed to secure new theatrical releases for The Last Act in over 30 countries. The finale will also be released on YouTube for free on June 18, two weeks after its initial theatrical release on June 4.
