IGN Fan Fest 2025 has released a new English-language clip for the upcoming animated series based on CAPCOM’s Devil May Cry video game franchise, where fans got their first look at Dante in action.
The upcoming 8-episode animated series is produced by Adi Shankar, the showrunner of Netflix’s Castlevania, and animated by Studio Mir, the studio behind Avatar: The Legend of Korra. Johnny Yong Bosch will reprise his role from the Devil May Cry games as the voice of Dante.
The series’ description from Netflix reads: ‘In this animated adaptation of the popular CAPCOM game, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.’
Devil May Cry launches on Netflix on April 3, 2025.
