The Late Mohammad Fahmi’s Swan Song, Afterlove EP Arrives On February 14

Afterlove EP is ready to break our hearts, and it couldn’t have chosen a better date. Earlier this week, developer Pikselnesia and indie label Fellow Traveller announced that Afterlove EP will be released on PCNintendo SwitchXbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on February 14th for Valentine’s Day.

The highly anticipated game from the late Indonesian developer Mohammad Fahmi, follows a young musician named Rama who finds himself lost after the unexpected passing of his girlfriend Cinta.

As Rama struggles to let go of Cinta — especially since he still hears her voice inside his head! — he will be faced with myriad challenges, including finding inspiration and finishing the EP he promised Cinta, reconciling with his friends and bandmates, preparing for an important gig at the end of the month, and most importantly, the daunting prospect of moving on and finding love, friendship, or whatever direction his future takes him.

Pikselnesia, the fully independent Indonesian development team behind Afterlove EP have truly brought the vibrant color and rich culture of Jakarta to the forefront in the game, all the while ensuring they are honoring the original vision and treasured legacy of the late Mohammad Fahmi, the beloved and dearly missed creator of Coffee Talk, What Comes After and Afterlove EP.

In addition to a unique mix of narrative adventure, visual novel, rhythm game and life/dating sim, players will enjoy eye-popping manga-inspired artwork from Indonesian artist Soyatu, depicting Rama’s journey with beautiful hand-drawn characters and environments featuring real-life landmarks from all around Jakarta.

The game’s original soundtrack is written and performed in Indonesian by indie band L’alphalpha with English subtitles included.
