Blizzard’s Diablo IV is the latest game to arrive on Xbox Game Pass on both console and PC. Originally released in 2023, this action RPG is the latest entry to the Diablo franchise and follows the prophesied return of the demon Lilith, the Daughter of Hatred. It is also a standalone game that takes place several decades after the events of Diablo III.
The Xbox Game Pass version will include all the features of the base game, such as the solo and multiplayer story campaigns, and the Seasonal realm which features a Battle Pass. The game does require you to connect your Battle.net client in order to run the game though, so make sure to download the client before you jump into the hellscapes of Diablo IV.
If you’re looking for a break from the rampaging and looting, Open Roads from Annapurna Interactive has also dropped on Xbox Game Pass on both console and PC. In this adventure mystery-thriller game, mother-daughter Opal and Tess embark on a road trip to explore a series of long-abandoned family properties, unearthing hidden secrets along the way.
The game features performances by Keri Russell (The Americans, Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker) and Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart, Uncharted 4), melding detailed first-person environments with beautifully hand-animated characters for a truly unique experience.
