From now until February 26, Netflix has uploaded all 1 hour and 38 minutes of Nimona on YouTube to watch for free! The animated movie by Annapurna Pictures has been enjoying a successful awards season this year.
Most recently, it received seven nominations at the 51st Annie Awards and won two awards for Best Writing and Best Voice Acting. It is also nominated for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars this year.
The movie follows the story of a knight who is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. The only person who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona, a shape-shifting teenager who might also be a monster he’s sworn to kill. And that’s only the first ten minutes of the movie.
The cast is led by Chloë Grace Moretz who plays Nimona, and Riz Ahmed who plays Ballister Boldheart. Fellow netizens may also be interested to know that Eugene Lee Yang from The Try Guys is also in this cast as Ambrosius Goldenloin.
Its story is based on the 2016 Eisner award winning graphic novel by ND Stevenson, of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Lumberjanes fame.
